Laserconcerts

Laser concerts are a collaboration of NachtmannSilies (laser) and Bassfrucht (electronic live music). The performances mostly span between 30 and 60 minutes and especially the laser works interact extensively with location and setting. Together with the music performance a unique experience is created that is both fascinating and immersive. Unlike common laser shows, we take an abstract, minimal approach to work with the capabilities of laser technology.

Concerts

We have played concerts in Cologne, Eindhoven, Berlin and other places since 2005.

What I do

Sound and sounds, rhythm, beats if the settings allows for it. The setup of electronic musical instruments evolved over time. Currently, I mainly use an Akai MPC 1000 sampler with custom operating system, a Clavia Nord MicroModular Synth and a Korg Kaoss Pad (for effects), and a Korg MicroKorg synth.
